Movie in the Park: Puss in Boots - Tonight, June 20th

Bring your blankets and lounge chairs out to Fischer's Park and enjoy a concert featuring Lolly Hopwood, followed by a movie under the stars! The event is free to all.

Sidewalk & Trail Connectivity Study: Public Meeting, Thursday, June 22

The Township's Sidewalk + Trail Connectivity Study continues to advance. In late April, the Township received a draft report from our planning consultant Simone Collins. The draft report includes extensive inventory and analysis of existing conditions with various maps and mapping tools, along with recommendations, priorities, and potential funding sources for future implementation. The Connectivity Study Draft Report can be accessed here. 

The goal of the study is to analyze existing pedestrian connectivity in the Township and propose pedestrian facility improvements to increase safety for residents and visitors. The next public meeting will be June 22 at 7 pm, at the Township's Meeting Hall Building - 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446.  The Township website has a dedicated page to access associated study and meeting materials to date. Electronic Recycling Event - Saturday, June 24  (9 am - 12 pm)

Don't forget to take advantage of our annual electronic recycling event this Saturday morning, from 9 am - 12 pm. This service is available to all Towamencin residents and small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. No smoke detectors or large appliances will be accepted. All data media will be destroyed or wiped! Additional details will be forthcoming.

Accepted Items Include: Laptops, computers, peripherals, typewriters, mice, telephones, printers, fax machines, cameras, keyboards, cell phones, small appliances, calculators. Items with fees: TV or computer monitor, air- conditioner, microwave or dehumidifier, wooden console or projection TVs.

Construction Notice - Detwiler Road Potholes

Next week, our Public Works Department will be addressing potholes along the road, between Wambold and Forty Foot Roads . The road will remain open, but at times, traffic may be reduced to one lane. Keep this in mind when traveling through this area by slowing down and following the direction of flaggers/signage. This work is weather dependent and may extend beyond next week.

Township/County Taxes and Sewer Bill -  June 30th Deadline

Reminder - If you have not paid your sewer or Township tax bills this year, be sure to do so by June 30 to avoid assessed late fees. If you have questions about your bill, contact the Township at 215-368-5357.  We accept payments in person until 4:30 pm daily; after hours please use the payment drop-box outside, in front of the Administration Building. If using the drop-box, place your payment within an envelope and include a self-addressed stamped envelope for requested receipts.

North Penn School District tax bills will be mailed on July 1st.
