Total Liquidators' Grand Opening is set for Saturday, August 12, 10 am to 3 pm, per their Facebook page. The retailer will fill the space next to the Lidl Grocery Store located at 1150 Welsh/Main Street, Lansdale. Total Liquidators sells "big-box” store items at a discount, including housewares, small appliances, furniture, toys and clothing.

Construction - Lane Closure Allentown Road
PennDOT announced: Monday, August 14 - Friday, August 18 from 9 am - 3 pm, a lane closure is scheduled on Allentown Road between Reinert and Road and Forty Foot Road for curb construction.

The County's household hazardous waste events are by appointment only. Preregistration is required. In addition to the Montco Household Hazardous Waste events, Montco residents are welcome at the HHW events in Bucks, Chester, and Delaware Counties and Philadelphia at no charge. The links to the other counties’ event web pages are at MontcoPARecycles.org. Residents have almost 30 collection event opportunities for HHW from April through November. There is no drop off facility for household hazardous waste.
Employment Opportunity: Administration and Communication Coordinator
Towamencin Township is seeking a full-time Administration and Communication Coordinator to provide support to the Director of Administration. The ideal candidate must possess a strong mix of interpersonal, organizational and writing skills. The candidate will be detail-oriented and have experience creating effective visual presentations, including social media and website content. This role will regularly interface and work together with Township staff, the public, elected officials, committee members and other municipal agencies. This role will expand the Township’s communication footprint by regularly engaging the Community by sharing information in a clear and concise manner (news, events, projects, objectives) through various forms.
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred with emphasis in communication or marketing, supplemented by five or more years of progressively responsible administrative and communication experience, municipal experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
Position includes excellent benefits with a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications, work schedule 8 am – 4:30 pm.
