SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED
Towamencin Township is declaring a Snow Emergency beginning Saturday, January 24, at 10 pm and ending Monday, January 26, at 10 pm, due to the forecasted winter storm in the region. Read the entire news release.

Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. Meetings take place in the Meeting Hall Building of the Municipal Complex unless otherwise indicated. Meeting Hall address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. Additional parking is available at the adjacent Family Worship Center parking lot. If using the Church's lot, we ask that our guests park on the side closest to the Township property.
Towamencin Township Awarded $51,150 - Skippack Creek Stream Restoration Project
As part of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Growing Greener Watershed Protection Program, Towamencin Township has received a grant totaling $51,150. The funding will go toward design and permitting for a stream restoration project on the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy property located on Old Forty Foot Road. Special thanks to the CKS staff for preparing the grant application.
Hatfield Township - Conditional Use Hearing (Jan 28): Proposed Residential Development at Welsh Road (Adjacent to Towamencin)
Hatfield Township will hold a Conditional Use hearing on Wednesday, January 28, at 7 pm for a proposed residential development (161 single-family homes) along Welsh Road, adjacent to Towamencin Township. Hatfield Township has provided a copy of its legal notice and the proposed plan.
Last Days for Christmas Tree Pickups (January 23, 26, and 30)
Our Public Works Department will conduct final Christmas tree pickups on January 23, 26, and 30. If you would like your tree removed, place it at the curb before 7 am on these dates. If crews are assigned to snow removal or emergency work, pickup will be the following business day.
