Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. Meetings take place in the Meeting Hall Building of the Municipal Complex unless otherwise indicated. Meeting Hall address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. Additional parking is available at the adjacent Family Worship Center parking lot. If using the Church's lot, we ask that our guests park on the side closest to the Township property.
Recognition of Long-Term Service - H. Charles Wilson, III
At the February 11th Board of Supervisors meeting, the supervisors recognized the service of former supervisor Chuck Wilson. Mr. Wilson served on the Township’s Board for 24 years, from 2002 until this past December, serving as Chairman from 2004 to 2005 and from 2015 to 2025. In addition, he served on several Towamencin Committees, including the Finance, Pension, Sewer Advisory, and Public Works Committees.
During his tenure, Chuck also served as Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors’ (PSATS) Finance Committee and was a past president of the Montgomery County Association of Township Officials. Chuck continues to serve on the Towamencin Municipal Authority, Open Space and Park Advisory Committee, and the Morgan Log House Board of Directors. At this meeting, Mr. Wilson was presented with recognition from the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors, and citations from State Representative Liz Hanbidge, and State Senator Tracey Pennycuick. We thank Chuck for his dedication and contributions to the Towamencin Community!
Congratulations to our newest Fire Police Officer!
At the February 11 Board of Supervisors meeting, Zach Hendricks was sworn in as a Towamencin Fire Police Officer. Zach also works on the Township’s Public Works crew. Zach's commitment to public service and safety is evident. Let’s give Zach a round of applause for all he contributes to Towamencin Township!
