Upcoming Meetings

Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. Meetings take place in the Meeting Hall Building of the Municipal Complex unless otherwise indicated. Meeting Hall address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. Additional parking is available at the adjacent Family Worship Center parking lot. If using the Church's lot, we ask that our guests park on the side closest to the Township property.


Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

This past Sunday, we gathered to recognize our various Committee volunteers with a catered lunch and service certificates in the Township’s Meeting Hall.  Chair Joyce F. Snyder prioritized the opportunity to thank our many dedicated volunteers and acknowledge their contributions to the Towamencin Community. To all those serving on our Committees, we appreciate you!


Bocce Ball Pop-Up Event - Saturday, October 18 (1 PM)

Join us this Saturday, 1:00–2:00 PM (weather permitting) for a free one-hour “Learn to Play Bocce” event at the bocce ball courts in Fischer's Park. All ages welcome, no bocce set needed—just come ready for some fun!


Introduction to Permaculture - Hosted by Towamencin Environmental Council

Join local resident David McCreary and learn the basic principles and methods of permaculture - Monday, October 20, from 7:00 to 8:00 8:00 pm. This class will be held at the Township Building in the Meeting Hall.  There is a $15 registration fee. Payments can be made via check or credit card and accepted by mail, through the drop-box outside the Township building, in person at the Township building, or in person before class. – ACH and CC transactions fees apply.

Pumpkin Derby Rolls to Success Under Sunny Skies!

Our 1st ever Pumpkin Derby was a smashing success as creativity took center stage and hand-crafted pumpkin racers zoomed in a lively, fun-filled competition. Participants and friends gathered under a beautiful blue sky to cheer on the imaginative entries in a day filled with laughter and community spirit. Every pumpkin had its moment to shine!


Towamencin Police Department Trunk or Treat - October 25

Join the police on Saturday, October 25, for Trunk or Treat at North Penn High School, starting at 5 pm. Dress up in your favorite costume and enjoy a fun night of community spirit and, yes, CANDY! This is also a great chance to meet our local heroes, the first responders who keep our community safe.


National Drug Take Back Day - Saturday, October 25

Drop off unwanted medications at the Towamencin Police Department Lobby from 10 am - 2 pm.  Accepted medications include pills or patches; unfortunately, liquids, needles or sharps cannot be accepted.  This service is free and anonymous.  If you are unable to make the drop-off date, the PD offers a medication box conveniently located in their lobby, and it is accessible weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm. Address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446
